X10 USB Firecracker Interface -- what can I do with it?

Hi, I just found out that I have some old little receiver with a USB connector. I connected it to my PC, and to my surprise, Vista actually recognized it and installed it as ‘X10 USB Firecracker Interface (ACPI-compliant)’. but what can I do with it?

edit: I also find a lola remote which must be something I purchased long time ago from X10 .... but still can't figure out how to set them up
