You'd be better off buying a used 6800GT or X850.

X600 Pro Vs. X1650 Pro
If anyone can help, what sort of improvements would I get as I am using a X600 PRO 256MB video card now and planning on upgrading it to the X1650 PRO 512MB ($160), would I see any sigfig. difference in gaming and if this is a good use of the buck?

Here are the two side by side. By comparing all of their raw specifications, the X1650 Pro is the clear winner, but sometimes going for an older high-end card can be better.

Hell, for $160 you could probably find a 7800GT used on the forum. There's one here already for $169.
