The Mole leans against what looks to be an old Camaro, and looks thoughtful. "What I gave you in that dart wasn't a sedative. Not really." He takes out a vial of an evil-looking brown liquid, and throws it to me. I catch it, and the biohazard symbol glares at me from the glass.

"What would have happened if I had dropped this?" I ask. The Mole shrugs.

"To you? Nothing, not anymore. To the city... it would have been bad. But you're a gamer, I trust your reflexes. Let's get away from weaponized [redacted] however, and I'll give you the information I came here to share. Soon the 360 Elite model will come with two games, Halo 3 and Fable 2. Even better? The bundle won't go up in price. So you'll get two great titles for your $400."

I nod, that's a very good deal. There have been rumors about the Elite being phased out for different special editions, such as the Resident Evil bundle we broke the news on, and this would seem to confirm that information. The Mole says we should have this rumor confirmed by the end of next week, so we should know very quickly if his information is accurate.

I have faith though, and the Mole saunters away without fuss. Before he leaves, he gives me an envelope. "That one's about Sony," he tells me. "Open it over the weekend, I think you'll be very interested in the information." Two big scoops in one week? The Mole delivers.

The Sony thing we'll know about either tomorrow or Sunday. The ars technica mole has been right 100% of the time so far. His leaks have always been about price drops and new hardware SKUs. It could be the PSP-4000 (unlikely imo, they'd wait until E3 for that), PSP price drop, new PSP-3000 bundle, PS3 price drop, new PS3 hardware configuration AGAIN, or PS3 bundle.

What a great bundle. Two AAA titles, 120GB HD, and most likely a Jasper unit. Perfect SKU for a first-time buyer, or someone looking to get a second Xbox 360. If I didn't already have two Xbox's, as well as Fable 2 and Halo 3, I'd be all over this heh...Of course, for $100 more places have had the 160GB PS3 with two additional games, usually AAA titles as well. Great time to be looking for a new console.

Perfect SKU for a first-time buyer.

Definitely, especially if they're coming in at the top of the grade. With this bundle pretty much all you're missing is the adapter - which is useless if you can hook up the wire - and the Gears series to round out the definitive Xbox experience.

Well, I've already beat it and I'm not one to rebuy games just because they have a few enhancements. I'll probably pass. Might play a friend's copy though since I'll make sure my PS3-only friends pick it up!

I'll pick up VS and Graces if they come out in English for sure though. Rather than Vesperia, I'd rather they announced a new Tales game for PS3 for release maybe in 2010 or 2011 by Team Symphonia.
