xbox hooked to widescreen tv - how to correct reso?

god i sound amish, but i bought a widescreen tv and am having trouble hooking up my modded xbox up to it...either i dont know how to access the xbox settings or dont know how to find the settings under the xecutor settings....someone please help? im sick of playing games stretched at the sides....

If it's modded - you need to enable the HD modes in the MSDASH first. Then enable them in your modded dash.
