This thread is a collection of all the XBOX LIVE 12 month subscription deals. I will try to periodically update this thread. Some deals are electronic downloads, which will give you codes instantly after payment. Others may be physical cards that are shipped out to your address in Canada or PO Boxes in the US. As far as I know, all 12 month subscription purchases are region-free.

This is a digital download where they email you two separate codes, one for the LIVE gold subscription and one for 1600 points. Beware: Unlike 12 month subscriptions, MS points ARE region encoded. The workaround is signing up for a new LIVE Id and selecting US as your location. This allows you to deposit your US points to your new US LIVE id and you can use the points to download things from LIVE marketplace to your console, which is then made available for ALL the users on your console, including your Canadian account.

Thanks OP! I ordered and worked. I use my regular street address and a NY state with ZIP code that I use to have when I lived there. My CC billing address is actually in Ontario, but the transaction went through. YMMV though bc my CC does know that I do make purchases online with an US address and I have called in before to allow the transaction to be put through and not get denied.

? Yes you don't have to wait until your exact expiry date they will just add on to what you have now.

Thanks. Bought a code using Canadian CC but fake US address. You are given a code to renew immediately. Which I have used to extend my previous Valentines day special. Same price but with a free copy of "Aqua" and 500 points

Works like a charm:

1. Use a Canadian credit card
2. Use an american address
3. Enter your email

That's a good question. If you're really concerned about it, use a public address like a library or a city hall in the US.
