[Microsoft] YMMV: XBOX Game Pass 3 months ($12) and XBOX Live 1 year ($47)

So with the XBOX Ultimate Sale starting tomorrow it looks like Microsoft kicked off a deal beforehand. NOTE: Some folks over at the Xbox One subreddit are reporting that some people with active subs are not seeing the prices for the gamepass. I can't check so I'm slapping a YMMV until further notice. Also, I didn't put it in the other thread both for this YMMV reason and also because it's officially not part of their Ultimate Sale, the promo started a day before and ends a day after that sale.

XBOX Game Pass 3 Months for $11.99 ($24 off, works out to be $48 for the year):

XBOX Live Gold 1 year for $46.66 (spooky, $23 off):

Awesome deals! Thanks!
Graphics don't make the game, developers do.

Stupid question...
But this will be the first time I renew my XBG subscription (expires in August).

I can buy it now and it will basically add a year to my current subscription?
This is about as it gets for 1 year ?

It seems to only work if you join now. Cannot purchase as a gift at this price.

I am! The price usually shoots up for me after I sign in. I was able to get both for the price in the OP.

Thanks this is a sweet deal!

Both GamePass and Gold, when redeemed or purchased, will just tack on to the end date. So if it's expiring August and you purchase 1 year today it will expire next August

100%. You can stack up to 3 years of xbox live. They just extend from current end date. Same goes for any microsoft subscription (game pass, office 365, etc.)

I see XBL for $46.66 but I can't get the Gamepass deal to show up after I sign in.

Further to the YMMV, those with active game pass subscriptions should be careful.

After logging in, it forwards me to a page to buy game pass for $11.99, but only for one month (as that's the regular monthly rate).

Pay close attention to what it says on your checkout screen.
