yogurt maker/home-made yogurt

I want to buy a 'Yogurt maker' in Toronto area. Does anyone of you all own one, and are using it since long? Which one do you suggest me to buy, that never fails to form good yogurt?

Usually in the summers, I make my own yogurt at home successfully, but during fall/winter, the temperatures are quite cold and it is difficult to make home made yogurt. I try preparing it even in the cold temps at home, but it not always successful.
And if you prepare your own home-made yogurt even in fall/winter successfully every time, any tips you could share with me?

I am looking for a 'Yogurt maker' that costs less than 30 CAD.

Any tried and tested suggestions?

We just bought one in September. It was a little more than your budget, got it on sale for $50, Waring Pro.

I'm not too crazy about it, my husband loves it. We arent pro's on making it yet, and have only made plain. I want to get into some flavours and I'm sure I would enjoy it too.

I probably dont have too many tips for you if you have been making yogurt already but without the machine. You probably know more than I do. You make it the same, only difference is you put the jars into the machine and turn it on.

If anyone has any recipes to share I'll be happy to hear them!!

I have no idea, but I wanted to make some yogurt last night since I never have.

I googled some how to's, and sure enough, gave it a shot.

Work up in the morning and i had some home made yogurt!

It's pretty easy, just so some searches.

I often prepare homemade yogurt, and it is not always successful. Sometimes i end up with failed yogurt too, especially in this cold season.
What steps did you follow? Can you share?
