Yongnuo Flash for Canon T1i

I'm looking for a Yongnuo flash, a upgrade from Speedlite 270EX II I currently own.

Do you know which model comparable to 320EX II or 430EX II ?

Thanks

What will you be using it for, mostly? On camera or off camera?

What is wrong with the 270 that you want to replace/upgrade?

For on-camera flash, this would be the best choice:

http://www.amazon.com/Yongnuo-YN568EX-I ... tl+yongnuo

You'll get all the advanced features like High Speed Sync (needed when using the flash as a "fill-in" light to reduce shadow contrast under direct sunlight).

In any case, it is a must to have a flash which head rotates both ways, and then to learn how to properly bounce the flash light off the ceiling and walls. You will see a huge change in the quality of your indoor photos.

Nothing really special, just for general use, 270 is fine. I can use a better one for occasion like my kids Christmas concert at school. For example, when the kids were on the stage, I couldn't really get too close because there were 100 parents with their Ipad/Iphone. Fortunately, I have a good zoom lens and I did fine.

I bought 568 on Ebay 3 months ago for $190 for some home photography projects. Quite a perfect flash. I've borrowed Canon's 580ex II and it's just the same at 1/3 of the cost.
