Well I wasn't going to wait in lineups tomorrow for my ID Card. I've been at York too long not to know better.

if u knew better u would have gotten the ID card earlier =P ... i got mine during the summer session or the winter i forgot XD and no line up =) .... and its good til 2010

It's like york fest, but not really... It's a york info fair, for york clubs and other campus activities....

I don't get why these cards are good until 2010. I could have graduated already but I am going back to take a few courses. So now I will be able to pretend I am a York student for a few years after I graduate.

yea there was a stabbing and i was there at 3 when it happened, i saw the cp24 interviews and the global lady....i didnt know what happened until a few hours.

Founder's building top floor has a reading room, basement has a few of them as well, although i guess they are in the Vanier/Winters or whatever building...
Stong college has a big room downstairs as well, the TEL building is fairly good on 2nd floor and up, fairly quiet if you go to the farther corners... TEL is good if you want to study with a few people, otherwise, Founders or Stong.

the higher levels of the library are very quiet, there are also various nooks and crannys in the founders,winters, vanier buildings.

also for the arts (poli sci) students if you need an old book ~50+ years you maybe able to get them for free with http://classics.mit.edu/index.html and http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page

PSE building, there's couches on every floor near each stairway, excluding the basement (there's 4 stairways).

yeah i've noticed that too... but it also depends on the time of day... sometimes you'd see lots of people walking just about everywhere, sometimes everyone's in class and there's just a few lonely smokers around the main buildings...

It is slightly more crowded this year ... will taper off come October as people realise their schedules and complete any admin work. Oh, next year there should be more room as the dble cohort graduates this year.
