I would definitely recommend buying a frosh kit and sticking with ONE college's activities for the whole week... not only will it be one of the best weeks of you life, by sticking with YOUR college, you'll meet people you'll either be living in residence with or see in your classes, which makes the University transition easier.
And not to rain on the parade, but VANIER rules. (although, Winters Frosh week is probably the best on campus).

Been a while, but when I went there was a sign up sheet, to get your frosh package.. I think at that time you can sign up for a few of the organized things like the jays game and such where they provide transportation.
A lot of the things you can just show up.
BTW, some of the colleges have rooms that they can rent out for the night to students. If you plan on going to the parties and such, this is always an option.

it depends, but most give you a kit with all the tickets for the events, lots of free samples, tshirt, lanyard, laundry bag and good times.
contact your college if you are interested in the specifics._______________
