Does anyone know when we can access the Student Financial Profile? I keep getting this message:

The deadline date for the application may have passed
You may be a graduate student - for graduate SFP timelines, please see the following link: http://www.yorku.ca/grads/future_stu...ncial.php?id=3

I know a few that took it, some said that it was easy others said that it was a lot of work. Check out the profs at rate my prof to see how they are rated. I was also able to find an old course outline, not sure if it has been changed though.
ASSIGNMENTS: Tutorial Contribution (15%); Essay I (10%); Essay II (15%); Essay III
(15%) and Research exercise paper (15%); Quizzes 10% ; and Final Examination
(20%)
Hope this helps a little.

I just want to clarify if you retake a course, will the 2nd grade replace the older grade? Has anyone done this before? I'm in the LAPS faculty if that matters.

I had to retake ADMS 1010 to upgrade it -___- This may be a first year course but its material intensive and requires you to read so much Business history. The second time you retake the course, the original grade will have a "NGR" beside your org grade. NRG means no grade retained i believe and it wont be counted towards your gpa.

Speaking of ADMS 2320, I have my exam tomorrow...
but my little brother's in the hospital, is that a valid reason to defer the exam? D:
I haven't deferred before, so I'm not sure.
If anyone could help out that'd be great.

Yes it is. If i were you I would send your prof an email explaining your situation. They'll ask you for proof of course. Send the email as soon as you can. There is a defer letter on the york website under courses and enrollment.

Yes, it is a valid reason - it's a family issue and they cannot say no.
Get in the form ASAP, but sometimes, your prof is nice enough to reschedule another day for you.
Here is the form you need to defer exams.
