you know it's cold when...

just a few things i realized walking to the bus stop this morning:

a) when you inhale through your nose, the snot up freezes and blocks further air from going in and you feel a funny tingling sensation as your nose hairs gets pulled together. When you exale, you can feel the snot melt and sometimes drip down to your lips. Then you realize, "hey it's tasteless!"

b) As great as the local gangsta's enthusiasm to share their up beat, thumpy, baby-crying-&-dad-being-racist-inducing music, they too roll up their windows because of the freezing cold.

c) when you walk on sheets of snow, it actually sounds like glass shattering

My nose felt really weird today like it was freezing I told my friend and he thought I was weird, I guess I am not alone!

It wasn't that cold downtown because of all the cars spewing gas. I use to live in Markham and it was like that every day. For all the inconvenience cold weather may cause, I would still take it over a hot clothes-sticking-to-your-back summers day.

i also think that sometimes it isnt that cold b/c if you walk close to tall office buildings they'll help block the wind.
