It was from DRIP. Back then I set up my entire account to DRIP and then cancelled like 1 week later. Never got my BCE preferred dividend and didn't know why until one day I got 2 shares from the DRIP. Apparently from the time I set up the DRIP and the week later I cancelled the DRIP, the DRIP cutoff date occured etc so I have been holding onto 2 shares ever since.
That $2 is killing me today

haha same thing happened to me when i was holding exe.un
spx well looks like it's going to keep going up lol...
what i mostly don't like is the vix going up, similar to pcr it indicates people are looking for protection so it's not as safe as it seems.
it could gradually keep going up but i'm just being cautious, it's def not a short signal.
edit
picked up some cco, only 100 shares it could fall 10% and i wouldnt care. i would just dca; im like 85% cash right now just wanted to capture some upside.

Looks like no deal for Greece; EU wants more cuts
http://mobile.bloomberg.com/news/201...t?category=%2F
No panic selling in Asia, even EUR is holding up; i guess all the "free" money loaned out to Euopean banks being viewed as a good enough firewall when Greece gets kicked out of Euro next wk?

ah explains why there was so much hesitation for the spx to really break above higher.
i was wrong when i said this would be a boring week... so far it has been but tomorrow should get heated up.

Seems like NA markets taking things in stride...
What's the worst case scenario that worries you folks? Is Greece default & additional contagion already factored into current prices???

worst case scenario for me... i guess german writes a bunch of loans and makes the market rise.
essentially my worry is that i miss that bus.
i was wrong about cco, apparently lower outlook means more than having good results. though i am convinced 23 is a big support, i won't dca until that breaks.
edit
woah vix is back above 20 and holdings, some may see that as a big reversal...

this is the hardest thing to forecast, a reversal or a pullback.
which makes sense since it's like trying to predict the outcome of greece.
it's interesting that this isn't really a big surprise you know. like we all knew greece had a big chance to default.
poor poor tsx... even on good news it's down.
ylo c and d prefs down another 20% lol

i read their latest report from rbc, it's price target is 0.10
in terms of value it's worth 0 right now, however if it's able to make money for 1-2 years then it'll be worth something.
want to dca my cco, but i'll wait for it; lets see how low it can go!

heh i was actually kinda surprised gold didn't move that much today.
it's not really following euro/usd...guess i figured more people would be interested in gold.
volume is quite light so didn't make any moves today.
