what do you guys recommend for me to do?
I know that the TSX is currently taking hits from the eurozone crisis and greece possibly bowing out.. also MFC doing some risky investing in asia.
i'm down -900 currently.... with MFC and GIL in my grasp. I bought right before it dropped so I bought really high..
I know it will return later on in 2012 to similar levels as what I bought.
So should I sell and hold cash OR wait till it returns in late 2012?
Thanks!

No one has a clue what is going to happen. Stop gambling and start investing in a low cost diversified protfolio using ETFs or Index funds. That would be my advice to you.

+1, leave the individual stock investing to those that can stomach huge losses.
At one point I was down 100k, and didn't flinch...... not.
Anyways, I leveraged up when times are bad, and return those leverage when times are good.
However, I am always 100% invested in stocks. Over invested when times are bad.
Because I know over the course of decades, stocks will always go up.
I know how to manage risks and my time horizon is infinite.
When I leverage up, I will only go to a certain distance where if all my stocks goes to zero, I would not need to declare bankruptcy.
