For industrial environments this could make a lot of sense..

This product would be great for grain elevators. I used to work for Manitoba Pool Elevators and the computers in the grain elevators would always die because the grain dust would clog up the power supply and cover up the motherboards and cause shorts.

clearly not for conventional home use i suppose. the hot air exhausting from the rear would get caught inside that bag... hopefully it's very easy to breathe through, but it doesn't seem like it. that's probably where the OP thought it was funny - where's all the hot air supposed to escape?

Sep 21st, 2006 06:01 AM #7Air probably passes through the bag quite easily. The material only blocks dust and particles...not air. It's like a furnace filter.

Sep 21st, 2006 03:38 PM #14Well if you were to properly select the case (get the most basic one with the least vents) it think it would be pretty easy to seal it up.

Sep 21st, 2006 03:43 PM #15Umm no not really considering the bag is covering the entire case so that dust doesn't get on the exterior of the case as well as the internal components if they had an intake on the case in the demonstration.
