Young drivers of canada lower insurance rates ?

Just wondering if you guys know anything about this - I've heard from a few people that if you go to YDC instead of other driving schools your insurance will be lower. I don't know by how much. Is this fact or fiction ? Even if it's jower by $30-40, it's still worth it imho. You get your money back in roughly 2 years or so.
Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

The school shouldn't matter... you just need to get a legit cert from a recognized school for completing the in-class portion of the course, to lower your rates.

I'm sorry, it was late and I forgot to say "lower than if you go to other schools".

YD is a good school.

You should ask your insurance company what they think about other driving schools and the insurance decrease.
