Your Haul for Black Friday / Cyber Monday

I had plans to pick up some a PS4 because I want to play Uncharted 4 when it comes out next year but I'll wait and see what Boxing Day has in store. The Nexus 9 for $229 was tempting and I saw some available this morning but couldn't complete the process before someone else beat me to it.. apart from that, I bought a few boxes of Ferrari Rocher from Walmart for $5 which his pretty good. Savings of $3 a box. Wish I had bought more. Like 10 boxes but it's ok, lol.

Kind of indifferent about buying stuff these days. personally if there is something I really want, I'll buy it regardless of price because the reality is, the most I'm saving is $50 or thereabouts; I'm not going to lose sleep over not getting that or waiting an entire year for a sale to grab it.

I bought my dad a 1/2" electric impact driver at Canadian Tire as his Christmas present.

Some relatives took my fiancee and I shopping for wedding gifts.
Since we have our gift registry at Hudson's Bay, we get 10% off anything we add to it. Since we were making a big purchase, we opened up a Bay credit card, for an extra 15% off. Some items were already 50% off, like sheets. So, they were 75% off. We also picked up a bunch of serving ware. Our shopping budget went a long way!

Also picked up some Craftsman toolboxes, and a Hoover vacuum cleaner at Sears.

I put a deposit on some furniture at The Brick. Buy love seat, get sofa 70% off. I decided to cancel the order, and get the deposit refunded. Our Kijiji couches will last a little longer.

Good for you guys (gals). I'm really glad I didn't buy anything although I came very, very close to buying the Nexus 9. I already have more tablets than I have hands for so it would have definitely been a remorseful buy on my part.

I'm making an effort to cut down spending in 2016. Nothing I don't need, I'm not getting. I guess the PS4 is out.

Needed to do a complete PC build for upgrade purposes.

Budget was 3k all in.
Came out 2k all in, without significant component compromises.

Thought I did pretty well.

I didn't buy anything. I guess I should have rebought a pair of boots that got discounted $20 on BF, but factored in the transportation costs for doing the refund, waiting for the new pair to be delivered, etc.

SO. MANY. HARD. DRIVES.
Seriously why did every single hard drive I wanted come up on sale.
The only thing that would have rubbed more salt in the wound is if Seagate did their 8TB for $200 again.

In this particular instance, I think a piece of coal may be better received. ELLE OH ELLE.

Just kidding. Buy them a death ray gun next year... they'll never use it on you, I swear.
