A 320GB SSD model is highly suspicious based on storage size alone.

What's it built out of? 480GB worth of storage chips from a production run with a high failure rate?

I have a sneaking suspicion that it's a sshd with a 3dnand cache.

I'm not sure how they could make a profit were that the case. The moving parts for the hard drive would really drive up the BoM.

Fair enough, but it's still sketchy enough that I wouldn't personally take a chance on it. (A legitimate 320GB SSD product would hit a sweet spot between slightly-too-small 240GB drives and I-don't-need-something-that-big 500GB+ drives........ )

you feel that it's sketchy because it's cheap to begin with (only $70 USD), read the reviews:

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Netac-N ... 29437.html
It's sketchy because it's a weird drive size from an unknown manufacturer.

a company with a market cap of 3.3B CNY?

(for comparison, BlackBerry is at 3.1B CNY)
Not a good comparison - Must look at principal markets
Netac is 3.3B CNY on Shenzhen (0.512 B USD)
BB is 6.26B USD on NYSE

1 USD = 6.418 CNY and SZ is not NYSE.

So Netac is about 8% of Blackberry, OR 3% of Seagate, OR 0.055% of Apple.

Market cap is not an indication of product quality, only investor enthusiasm to make money based on future expectations.

regardless, netac is a medium cap company that is close to 20 years old:

People ought to stop using money as a measuring stick to aspects that are not monetary-related.
all I was trying to illustrate is, people should not judge a company/product based on if they have heard of it.

Noted.

Decision of buying a product or not is from one's perspective of knowledge of the brand, the product and other factors (environmental, ethical...etc).
