Get your facts straight...vinyl is NOT a carcinogen PEOPLE! Don't go around the house throwing out all your vinyl blinds. Vinyl chloride which is released during the production of PVC is in fact a human carcinogen. The goverment evaluated alternate materials and concluded the alternatives to vinyl are just as bad.
