Doesn't coffee in stainless steel mugs taste weird? I thought a coffee mug with a glass interior was the best.
I am currently using a Thermos steel mug for my coffee and it tastes good if you enjoy your coffee within a reasonable amount of time. Make sure you clean your mug often so you don't have old rancid coffee residue left behind. I wouldn't leave the coffee in there for longer than 2-3 hours. Don't they use stainless steel brewers to store coffee in coffee shops? I am not sure how often they have to dump the coffee to brew a new batch but it's probably less than 2 hours. I can't believe some people in this thread drink their coffee after half a day or a full day, it must taste disgusting.

Alright! Bought 2. Amazon tempted me with the additional $5GC promo on $100 reload.

Best mug ever made, I have this mug when I bought it in Japan for full pop. it was close to $60 cad.
but the mug has lasted forever. I dropped it several occasions, still looking good. paint flakes off, but I repaired it with a sharpie!

Nope, coffee does not taste any difference to me. I do not have the ability to go and buy coffee anytime i wish. After 8 hours still very hot, and no odd taste. But, I do take it apart every night and wash it and air dry for next day to use. Used for the last 2 years and still going. 16oz with stainless steel.

Nah , if I am paying over $30 for a bottle I would expect to have it come with some sort of grip. It would actually help prevent dropping it.

I’m still on the fence about this since I don’t currently drink on the go. Not sure if the 20 oz would even fit in my bag and if it does, it will be close - will measure my bag when I get to work. May settle for 16 oz instead, hmm.

The 16 oz seems a bit more practical for daily TTC commuting. The 20 oz is the best deal but I may go for 16 as well.

Went for the 16. In the long term, I think it's the best option. Thanks, OP.
