It's a basic charter airline. Don't expect your own personal TV or anything. It gets you from A to B without crashing. I used them last year and it was fine. Most flights aren't non-stop direct though (Toronto>London involves a stopover in Montreal) so that adds a little to the travel time. You can pay a bit more and go for their comfort class or whatever it's called.

Zoom or GlobeSpan?
I found cheap flights on zoom and globespan, well not cheap but cheaper than ive seen elsewhere.
Just wondering how zoom are? Any horror stories or is it a good airline?
How about globespan? They fly out of hamilton and not out of a major airport so im iffy.Last edited by Ctwizzy; Jul 13th, 2007 at 05:32 PM.

I live in Hamilton and a few weeks ago they had to call back the same plane twice. I think it was on fire, or something like that. It was all over our local news.
Here is 1 link.

If you have to choose from either of them, go with Zoom's 767's. Flying overseas in a single-aisle 757 is just dreadful.

I flew from Liverpool to NYC on flyglobespan last month. It was a pleasant experience...
but as any budget airlines, you gotta pay for drinks/snacks/food._______________
let the good times roll~

Globespan is a total of $200 cheaper over both flights and allows for a lot more luggage 50kg vs the 20kg zoom allows.
So im unsure.

Here is another link of a dodgy Globespan engine test:

That's scary. My wife flew with them last week to Glasgow and back from Manchester for $443 coming back in premium. Plane was fairly empty slightly delayed and not much difference in premium class. I didn't see no 50kg allowance though. Zoom does have price match guarantee read the fine print though.Last edited by GSD; Jul 14th, 2007 at 12:14 PM.
