junelandas03 wrote: Hi guys, I just recently registered for this plan.
I'm just wondering how much the actual monthly total bill is.
I've signed up with Zoomer and I thought the total amount I'll pay monthly is $36 + tax BUT my first bill came in as $40.64 + $4.87 (PST/GST) totaling $45.51.
Other charges equaled $0.00 because I didn't exceed any part of the plan coverage.
Is $45.51 the actual monthly total people who signed up for this promo pay?
The $40.64 will be normal. The extra $5 is the prorated amount from the time you signed up until the first day of the billing cycle. Mine was quite similar to yours actually.
Edit: Beaten by seconds:)

Thanks,

Would you mind sharing how you got RCS to work? I read you need to share your profile in Contacts, then the phone number shows "Registered" which I did. After that you're supposed to go into Stock Messaging app - Options - Chat Settings but this is missing from my Options menu...

Also a Koodo phone on Zoomer and just updated to Oreo tonight

Thanks in advance,

Thanks in advance,
I haven't got it working, but you're confusing Bell's/Virgin's RCS with Rogers/Fido RCS. You'll need the Android Messages app to use Rogers/Fido RCS. Once installed just follow the prompts. Mine just hangs at Excuse the wait.

I've had the 2gb $36 plan for about a year now and I switched to loyalty at my 6 month mark, but is it possible to get the extra gig by not changing my plan?

So after six months you lose 1GB for the same price? Hmmmmm.....if it stayed 3GB for the two whole years at $36 I would switch over.
