LTE but I think I just left it on auto.

Both times my phone wasn't on me. By the time I got to it, the sound was gone. For the test alert the other week, it played in my headphones, interrupting my music and at first I had no idea what it was. I flinched in the grocery store.

I checked this list when I didn't receive any alerts today. I didn't see my phone (Honor 8) so that might explain it, but curiously, my wife's other phone that has no sim card in it, only connected thru our home wifi got all the alerts.

Honor 8 is a fairly new phone.
Check your sms settings to see if emergency broadcast can be enabled.

Zoomer did not send out memo. I found out the new plan while I was talking to a CSR on something else a few days ago.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Koodo $25 plan, Public Mobile $37 5GB, $13 250MB, $7 50min/50text,
Zoomer loyalty family plan for 3 lines $95/6GB, $0 FPL home phone

DO YOU EXPERIENCE THE ZOOMER'S DELAY PROBLEM WHEN SENDING OUT TEXTS?

My gf and I have this $36 phone plan with zoomer for about 2 months, and we found text messages are delayed when being sent out (i.e. they're not instant like with Fido). With the same phones (ZTE), we both did not experience this delay when we were with Fido. I figure it's the fact we're with the reseller (Zommer) and not on Fido/Rogers customers' priority?

How long is your delay? I think I often have a delay anywhere from 2 secs to 10 secs, especially for longer messages. I also noticed my SMS gets sent as MMS when it reaches a certain word count. I don't know if that's normal.

Zoomer doesn't own any of the infrastructure, so can't see that being the cause.

nope, my iphone sends texts exactly at the same speed on Zoomer as it did on Fido....which makes sense since it’s the same network
