Be aware of the limitation of extended coverage.

It’s intended for occasional use; the majority of your monthly usage (talk, text and data) must occur on the Rogers network. If the majority of your monthly usage occurs within Extended Coverage areas, we may restrict or limit your access to Extended Coverage on an ongoing basis.
I actually received a text from rogers earlier in the day before I noticed the roaming. It said " Rogers has turned on Extended Coverage in this area, and as our customer you have access at no charge.Talk and text services will works....... 'EXT' or roaming indicator on your screen means you're using extended coverage at no roaming cost. Call 611 for more details."

I spoke to someone at zoomer and they told me cost is 94$ to get out and on to the better plan with a free j3 prime. Or for 75$ I can get the p10lite

So 170 for better plan and p10 lite. How is this phone compared to my moto X play? Tried to compare but not sure what to look for.

Might just switch and not pay...

Since you have 9 months to go on your contract, it is cheaper to switch to the $40.5 3GB loyalty plan for $40.5 for next 9 months instead of paying $94 to get out of your current contract and get another phone for another contract.

For me, I will not pay out my contract and sign another 2 years contract. Now, we know that Zoomer is no flexible on switching the new market plan. I will be kicking myself if Zoomer is offering $36 4GB plan within a year which is very likely as the current mobile industry trend is more data for the same cost. Paying extra $4.50 a months will give me option to go anywhere.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
1x 7-11 Speakout, 2x Koodo $28 plan, $0 FPL home phone
1x Zoomer $36 loyalty plan, 1x Zoomer loyalty family plan for 4 numbers $117($72 + 2x$22.5)

So Zoommer offers extended coverage roaming at no charge, so I guess it doesn't matter if I am roaming or not.

Yes. It is truly an Canada wide plan - no extra charge no matter where you go within Canada.

I have a phone already with zoomer for the $40 - 10% = $36 / month plan (2GB + 400 mnt?).
I'm thinking to get another phone, most probably with the same plan.

What are my options?
Shud I get the 3GB loyalty plan for 40.5/ mo for my current existing phone? Can I still keep the 10% discount if I get the loyalty plan?
Is the 3GB data/ 400mnt plan still available for getting a new phone, BTW?
TIA!

My sister says she only got 2 gig ( but she's also not as young and hip as I am, so she might be mistaken) [hi Moe]
She'll call and check, I'll keep you posted if the program changed or not

I am renewing and have been offered the $40.50 plan with either a LG Q6 or P10 Lite. It's quite an amazing deal, I just assume that Fido, Koodo etc. would not have anything better in terms of minutes / data for the buck.

Of those two phones, which is better (for camera quality and battery life)? Which has the higher resale value?

OK, confused now. I am an existing Zoomer customer, my contract just ended. I am being offered a $40.50 plan with unlimited Canada-wide calling (all day), 3 GB data, enhanced voicemail, and the P10 Lite (or Q6). Is this "correct" or should I be getting this for $36?

This is the 3GB loyalty plan. You can also get the $36 3GB market plan with 400 minutes and mini voicemail. if you want to get a P10 Lite or Q6, the $40.5 loyalty plan has overall better value.

Thanks for the clarification. I think getting the P10 Lite and the enhanced voicemail is worth the few extra dollars IMO, even if I don't need all the daytime minutes.

The data overage rate is 2 cents/MB for the loyalty plan vs 5 cents/MB for the market plan.

You must mean either two cents per MB or two dollars per GB? Surely it can't be two cents per GB, that's ridiculously low.
