So guys I'm currently on the 36/mo but with 2gb plan right now. I'm also off contract and paying month-to-month, would I be eligible for the plan with 3gb if I sign on another 2 years and take a phone?

Edit: PS. If I do take a phone, what would be a good choice? Is it logical to take the Huawei GR5, or should I pay a bit out of pocket for a Samsung A5. I am intending on reselling the phone as I do have a OnePlus 5.

Someone just mentioned about subsidy a few pages back.
So Zoomer allow us to NOT get a phone and provide some subsidy? What's the details?
I'm eyeing on this deal for some time and I'm considering to jump on it...
Nobody answered my question about this earlier so I did the online chat myself to find out. Rep told me 10% discount if I don't want a phone.

I believe that if you BYOD there is no bonus offer of extra minutes and data.

Not sure if this answered in the 31 page thread.

I didn't actually sign up so I'm just repeating what the rep told me. Said 2 year contract and 10% off if I don't take a phone.

If you don't get a phone and sign up a 2 year contract to get the 3gb plan do you still have to pay an ECF of $200+?

No ECF if there is no device subsidy, so it is not actually on contract. I do not think they will give you the promo plan without phone subsidy.

Still on contract since last may. I online chatted and didnt get anywhere then sent them an email and same guy who i was online with called me almost immediately and said he talked with his supervisor and they said to give me this one time allowance to switch but that i can change back to the loyalty plan at anytime (as long as they offer it)
I just called and they said that it's only for upgrades so I requested a supervisor call back. I hope they will let me switch or else I'd be quite upset

This may be a stupid question but here goes: I started my service with Zoomer September 5/2017. Does my loyalty eligibility start March 5th (now) or April 5th?

I'd much rather have an extra GB than unlimited minutes even though I don't go over even 1GB.

You can call or online chat now to switch to loyalty plan to get unlimited minutes and enhanced VM.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Koodo $25 plan, Public Mobile $37 5GB, $13 250MB, $7 50min/50text,
Zoomer loyalty family plan for 3 lines $95/6GB, $0 FPL home phone

I signed up this morning. I found a referral on kijiji so I got the $25 bucks. Funny story I thought the guys ad was possibly fake because him name was Will Poon, but luckily it was all good.

That's why i used Yong G's account # for referral lol. Zoomer's reps are nice and easy to deal with!

Still haven't decided if I want to swap from loyalty to this. Gain 1gb, calling down to 400 mins and voicemail down to holding 3, neither really matter realistically. I don't use my full 2gb but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be as conservative with my data and use more if I had the extra gb; I avoid watching videos atm.
Another thing is to break my contract would cost $50, but the phone I grab would be sold for maybe $150? So that extra $100 is like $4 a month off my plan for two years. hmm.
Does doing this mean you have to make a new account, and thus can get a new referral?
No new account required, its a straight change from the same account (your phone number) to a new plan. Look at your monthly history, you will know how much you use. Call to check if you can renew your contract for another 2 years even if you still have a contract with them.
