Thinking about jumping on this before it expires, but do have two questions:
1. Does Zoomer have Rogers full EXT coverage? With EXT coverage is it the same as Telus/Bell? I'm currently with Koodo and I know there are a few places where I get full coverage but friends with Rogers only have EXT.
2. Does the referral credit get applied to the device balance or monthly bill?

1. You get extended coverage. We are getting free roaming in Canada essentially. Extended coverage = free roaming in Bell/Telus network
2. Referral credit is a bill credit which you can use to pay for current and future monthly fees. If you decided to change your free phone within 30 days, the shipping charge for receiving the new phone and sending back the old phone cannot be paid by the bill credit.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.

I'm currently on $36 2GB loyalty plan. Can I get that extra 1GB if I call in?

No if you are on contract unless you pay off your current phone account balance and sign another 2 years contract with a free phone.
But couple of RFDers got it without another contract. YMMV.

Considering its the same monthly cost, I don't think it will be an issue.

It sure was an issue. I tried my level best to get my $36 2GB plan upgraded to $36 3GB without having to pay off the phone balance. I could not do it. There must be something I didn't ask correctly perhaps. For those who were able to get the upgrade without triggering a device balance payment, please school me.

You have to get a new phone for 2 year contract. You can port in your number from PM.

Can someone please enlighten me the advantage of getting the Family share plan ($72) for 2 lines vs. just getting 2 separate smartphone plans ($36x2 lines)? If seems if you just get 2 separate smartphone plans you actually end up with more data for the same price.

There is no advantage if each person does not use more than 2GB data and 400 minutes. It will be cheaper if one uses more and the other uses less.

I have 4 users sharing a loyalty family plan. It is cheaper/person/month(around $30/person).

It used to have some advantages when the $36 had 2GB data. But with 3GB data, the individual plan is a better choice.
