I don't mind receiving that Zoomer magazine, lol :D

Free ... and a real magazine subscription ... that some people actually pay money for.

Doesn't bother me one bit ... And I'd rather get than not get it ... as long as the magazine remains FREE :D

My ex g/f has Chatr ...

I got it for her back when we were together ... I had Chatr back then also.

Her English was so-so ... So I basically got the whole Chatr hookup for her ... and had / have my email on her account even.

So few days ago ... Chatr sent me / her email to Migrate to Fido ... if wanted ...

Bring Your Own Phone ... @ 4GB / $40 ... Unlimited talk Canada Wide / Unlimited text word wide

My mother who is now with Rogers ($20 / m. no data) had account with Fido before (also $20 / m. no data) ... If one had / has an account with Fido (Example my mother's $20 m.) ... then, I believe, one could add the second line on that account at 10% discount ...

So very possible that that 4GB / $40 plan ... one could actually get at 10% , at 4GB / $36 basically ... if added their line to an existing Fido account.

If Fido still has that 10% discount for the 2nd line, that is...

4GB / $36 /m ... all unlimited ... would be not too bad, I suppose :)

With all these $40/4GB plans going on ATM, Cityfone will up the loyalty plans soon. JMO. YMMV.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Koodo $25 plan, PM $38 5GB plan, PM $8 plan to replace Speakout,
Zoomer loyalty family plan for 4 lines $117/6GB, $0 FPL home phone

It is BYOP, if one can sell the GR5 for $100-150, the monthly plan ends up being $30-32 for 3GB/400 vs $40, not sure if you can stack the 10% off on a migration promo plan :o but if you can, $4-6 extra for 1GB is not shabby if you need it.

Just called Fido ... and shoot some crap with the sale Rep for 10 mins or so ...

Ya ... that 4GB / $40 is strictly for Chatr migrations ...

And if you have an account with Fido already ... you won't get 10% on that special Chatr / Loyalty plan any longer ... nowadays you get there 10% only on regular plans / advertized on website.

So the price would be 40 dol. for this one ... not 36 dol.

And Fido got rid of referrals ...

The guy said now they have Fido MasterCard where you get 1.5% cash back ... ( big whoop ... one can get 2% cash back for bill payments ... and even 3% cash back for bill payments if use TD Infinite Visa card ).

I told the guy "comes May your Fido MasterCard will be only 1.25% cash back ... hehe ... -- not even sure if he was aware of this yet or not :D

I got the similar offers to move from my $30 ChatR plan. I only need 200mb data/m. There is no points of paying for more data. I switched to Zoomer and pay $22.50/m as the fourth member of my family plan.

I just move out of Zoomer to Koodo $40/6GB plan.
Only $4 different per month, and got 4gb more data.
I still have hardware balance at Zoomer, but I sold the phoneright away when I sign up 7 months ago, which cover most of the hardware balance.

- 4 X Koodo $40/8GB plan
- Tons of stuff that I don't need but still got them because of RFD

I'd like to do the same.
How did you get the Koodo plan if you were a Zoomer client?

Why you bother posting a deal that is not for the general public?

I use their loophole before they close it.
Basically, ported the PM over at store, right after, place an online order.
So I end up have 2 x Koodo account from 1 PM account.
After it fully working for couple days, I port my zoomer number over.

Man, the phone choices are so hard when you are looking to port over all 4 lines in your family, trying to resell all four phones is going to be a nightmare.

Btw, can a fellow RFD'r shoot me a PM for a referral code?

Edit: Thanks guys! that was a quick reply from all four of you!

Just called Zoomer to double-check / refresh my memory when I signed up with them.

I signed up with Zoomer May 19, 2017

May 18, 2018, I guess --- I will be 1 year with them ... :)

My 2 year contract with Zoomer is over May 18, 2019

Was any existing customer able to switch from 2GB to 3GB?
