To be fair, all carriers set their out-right prices the highest they can go (basically MSRP at launch). Koodo seems to be the exception thus far.

That is the reason why RFDers have the Zoomer plan buy the inexpensive from from Koodo and use it with Zoomer.

Public Mobile $37 5GB, $13 250MB, 2x $8 50min/50text, Fido $10 4GB data only plan,

I don't think Zoomer mails them, they send your info to CARP and then they eventually send out the card.

1. What is the best data plan i can go with i need at least 1 gb ?
2. How can i get a referral and how to use it ?
3. Is there any contract or is it a month to month service which i can cancel anytime ?
2. You don't think most of these posts are actually people giving generous feedback, do you? 90% are only posting as a way to get around the referral rules and hoping for you to PM them! Lol

Is there a 4 GB plan for $45 available? There was a $36 and $45 promo available in the summer of 2017.

$45 for 4GB is a retention plan.

IIRC, I got my G4 around mid November 2017 and sold it for $209 as I just don't want to deal with bootloop.

Actually I was surprised that they even had G4s in early January.

I thought long and hard whether to jump on the $60 plans a few months ago but I couldn't do it. I would have been giving over $27 more a month for data I wouldn't use. That's $300 a year.

My data has never gone past 2GB until last month when I started using music streaming services. So the 4GB loyalty plan is probably the sweet spot now. I'm still saving $200 a year.

RFD is not just about saving money, it's about the thrill of the hunt and not paying full price like Joe Shmoe did. This applies to everyday items as well as high end items that I don't really need.

Wireless data will get cheaper from now on. There is no points to pay extra for the data which you are not using. Those 10GB data plan will be offered again and may be even at lower price. JMO

I tend to agree. The data usage for even light users creep upwards with time. If people are going to stream audio or video, there really isn't a plan that's adequate, not even 10 gigs per month. Regardless, never over buy what's really needed every month. Paying for an occasional overage is more cost effective.
