Yes, 4GB plan with a free G5. You can also get the Q6.
And it has 400 daytime mins? When is it considered evening, after 6? (weekend is free right?)

Also finally, is the referral credit still available. And, I see reports of lg g5 getting a bit too hot, is the consensus to now pick the Q6 instead? Thanks.

Free from 6pm and weekends.

Referral credit is available.

G5 has better specs, but Q6 is newer with more modern form factor.

Sidenote: $22.50 unlimited talk and text Loyalty Plan now available for those with Zoomer more than 6months.
How does that work?
I started with Zoomer with the $40 - 10% plan with a free phone and a two-year commitment.
After 6 months, I switched to the "loyalty plan" that was the same proce but gave me unlimited calling in Canada rather than just 400 minutes.
Also enhanced voice mail which I don't use.
At that time, the Zoomer rep actually had to double check with someone to confirm that this switch was possible.

Are you telling me now I can call Zoomer and switch to the unlimited talk and text plan?
Is that plan described anywhere?

If you got a free phone applied to a $40 plan ($36 after 10% off), you need to pay off your phone account before you are allowed to switch to the $22.5 loyalty plan because you need a $36 plan to continue to write off your phone account. The $22.5 plan will not be able to pay down your monthly charge for your phone account.

I don't follow the math.
If the loyalty plan is $22.50 and I'm currently paying $36.- per month, that means I'm paying $13.50 a month towards paying off the phone.
For two years that would be $324.- which is actually a lot more than what the phone was worth.

But regardless, do I need to keep paying the $36.00 per month for the remainder of the 2 years or can I just pay a lump sum to pay off the phone and then switch to the $22.50 plan?

There is nothing in my monthly bill that I see which states the amount owing on the phone itself, ie how much more needs to be paid off.

Zoomer is paying a fixed amount toward your phone balance according to the phone you got. If you switch to $22.5 plan, the amount will be less per month. Zoomer does not allow this to happen unless you pay off your phone account balance. But If you stay with the $36 plan, Zoomer is paying off your phone balance after 2 years.

After paying off your $36 phone balance, you can switch to the $22.5 loyalty plan on month-to-month or get a free phone for the $22.5 plan with another 2 years contract. It does not make any sense to sign another 2 years contract after paying off your current contract.

The $36 plan free phone has $250 value. Zoomer is paying down you phone account balance by $10.42 per month.
You are saving $13.50 per month by switching to the $22.5 plan. You are saving $3.08 per month by paying off $10.42 * number of months remaining.
Now, it is your decision.
How much did you sold your Zoomer free phone?

Cityfone $40 plan is same as Zoomer $36 plan ($40 less 10%)

You cannot get 10% Cityfone.
But you can get Zoomer plan with 10% off for the identical plan.

The $22.50 plan is only text and voice isn't it? No data.

Thanks, this is pretty clear now, except.....the bolded part in your post.
Did you mean "or get a free phone for the $36.- plan with another 2 years contract."?

If I get another "free" phone for $22.50 per month with unlimited Canadian minutes and unlimited international texting and 4GB data - I would certainly take that and sign a two-year contract.

IDK as I am not interested. All I know is Zoomer low price plans do not offer much. As far as I am concern, $36/4GB is the cheapest 4GB plan available ATM.
- Watch for PM to Koodo lottery $35/5GB if Koodo offers it again.
- My $38/5GB plan is not bad and is still available with $10 credit for 6 months + $25 referral credit. No contract and no free phone. But if you don't need the extra 1GB data, there is no point to pay extra $2/m for it.

I don't think the $22.5 loyalty plan has any data. You ask the RFDer who posted the $22.5 loyalty plan earlier. Knowing Zoomer, you don't get much for $22.5 period.
