I've been with Zoomer since May 2017 on the $36 2GB plan. Are existing customers allowed to get the 3GB plan?

That is the only downside about Zoomer, they should let their existing customer to switch between plans within the contract without cancelling.

For folks currently with SimplyConnect (formerly Talk & Save), which is the same company as Zoomer (Rogers)...

This may have been covered already but just FYI, I was able to call simplyconnect directly and get my lines changed to Zoomer's 3gb $36 plan (I'm out of contract so no cxl fee). The benefit of this is that it's just faster, and no new account needs to be set up (so no credit check).

i was able to get the 3gb plan. however, i had to forego my loyalty plan and switch back to 400 weekday minutes, which I was fine with!
Happy Zoomer and FIDO client!

Were you still on contract at the time switching to 3GB plan?
If no, did you sign a 2 years contract and got a new phone?
If yes, did you pay off your device account balance and sign another 2 year contract?
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Public Mobile $37 5GB, $13 250MB, 2x $8 50min/50text, Fido $5 4GB data only plan,
Zoomer $36 loyalty 4GB plan, $0 FPL home phone

I did. Paid it off and sold the GR5 in 2 days for $110 (GTA), which was more than my tab. Happy with more data, didn't use many minutes :)

Anyone have any suggestions for a cheap case from ebay for the LG K4 2017 version that comes with this deal. Some of the adds on ebay say european version and I am afraid there are different versions with the same name:( Thanks in advance for any input guys.

Just got zoomer yesterday but noticed signal is worse than when I was with Speakout. Odd because they should be using the same towers.

Try resetting the network settings. If you still have a weak signal, check the APN settings.

Also, check to see if your phone supports the LTE band. It is different from Rogers 3G network which Speak-out is on.

Probably because Zoomer is LTE but Speakout only HSPA+. You can force your phone to use HSPA+ by turning off LTE option if it improves your signal in your location.
