Zoomer $40 Plan: 4GB LTE, Unlimited Talk/Text and Free Phone - $50 Referral bonus (but don't ask for codes on thread)

Price:
$40.50
Retailer:
Zoomer Wireless
Posting this because it’s a slightly different deal than the $36 plan for those that need unlimited Canada wide calling. I switched to this myself because of the $60 plan price hike from the major carriers and I didn’t use anywhere near 10GB of data but needed the unlimited voice.

This is not a listed plan and you have to go to zoomerwireless.ca and chat with a service rep or call in.

Details:
$40.50/month, 2 year contract
4GB Data
UNLIMITED Canada-wide Calling Minutes
UNLIMITED Incoming Text Messages
UNLIMITED Text & MMS (Canada/INTL)
Call Display
Call Waiting
Conference Calling
Mini Voicemail
Name Display
Free phone (LG Q6, LG G5 or Samsung A5)

$50 credit for using a referral code in March. (Don’t ask for codes in the thread).

After 6 months you can switch to the loyalty plan for $36 which is the same as this.

It's better to get the $36 plan and get Unlimited Calling after 6 months

This is the $45 plan with 10%.

I recommend you get the $36 plan ($40 with 10%) which is 4GB of LTE data and 400 minutes with unlimited evenings and weekends. Then after 6 months get the $36 loyalty plan which is 4GB and unlimited minutes.

This $40.50 plan, if you get an uber subsidized phone, you can’t drop down to the $36 loyalty plan after 6 months without paying off the balance on the phone which could be $200-300.

But yes, don’t forget the $50 referral credit when you sign up. Just need the person’s name and number.

This seems like a "I'm trying to get a referral credit" post.

Is the 4gb LTE throttled or full speed?

Does it has to be 2 yrs contract?

Low effort thread in an attempt to mine referral credits. Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes
Reluctantly, I kinda concur.

Happy with Zoomers and my two-year contract will end next week. This is my backup line, rarely used and I'm trying to no to switch to Koodo. Hoping to get an A8, anyone tried to get an A8 with a loyalty plan? TIA

Really - a free A8 on the $45 (less 10 percent) plan? That would be pretty good. Sure it isn't just the A5?

We switched a line from Fido back in December and took the G5 on the $36 plan, and have helped a couple other friends switch since then. Zoomer customer service is great, Never wait more than a couple minutes to talk to a person, that I'm pretty sure is located in Canada. No surprises in any of our dealings with them, you get what you're entitled to, nothing more or less. I'm fine with that.

Sorry. You’re right. It was the a5. My mistake. Fixing the details.

Couldn’t do this for me because I needed the unlimited calling right away. This way I could get the unlimited calling and would only cost me an extra $24 total.

Not at all. I wanted to switch and discovered this plan. Didn’t see it posted anywhere else. Thought it would help those like me where 400 minutes wasn’t nearly enough.
