Not at all. I wanted to switch and discovered this plan. Didn’t see it posted anywhere else. Thought it would help those like me where 400 minutes wasn’t nearly enough.

The only small negative about Zoomers is their US roaming charge.

Unlike other carriers, like Rogers, who charger $7/day using your existing phone/text/data plan, Zoomers charges a flat rate of $40 to $65 extra depending on what phone/test/Data you want.

Thanks! Free roaming?
Zoomer doesn't really have "roaming" - there are no zones.

Zoomer does offer Extended Coverage (Rogers switches you to another provider if you travel to an area in Canada where Rogers does not provide coverage) - this is free! Zoomer does not, however have "roam like home" or anything similar.

I've been using their service for several years and am more than pleased with their service.

I recommend you get the $36 plan ($40 with 10%) which is 4GB of LTE data and 400 minutes with unlimited evenings and weekends. Then after 6 months get the $36 loyalty plan which is 4GB and unlimited minutes.

This $40.50 plan, if you get an uber subsidized phone, you can’t drop down to the $36 loyalty plan after 6 months without paying off the balance on the phone which could be $200-300.

But yes, don’t forget the $50 referral credit when you sign up. Just need the person’s name and number.
Fair enough. But if you get the LG phones you can drop to $36. For me the unlimited voice was well worth the extra $24 over 6 months.

Does Zoomer had HD voice? This is something I see when I make a call on Koodo.

That's exactly what I did. Over two years, I'm expecting my monthly to be effectively $25/month after selling the phone for $180. :)

I had a really good experience with these guys, been with them for 4+ years now. They keep piling on more data year after year as a bonus.

Just chatted with them, the 5GB 40.55 plan is a 6 month loyalty plan. :)

Wife is on this plan (loyalty with A5 and 5 GB), but considering switching to the PM $30 plan as she doesn't use much data. Zoomer has been pretty good over the past 1.5 years though.

I'd recommend sticking with Zoomer. PM's support is online only and quite slow.
