doesn't look like anyone posted this, but FYI zoomer has blackberry key2 LE for free on a 40 dollar plan.

I was up for renewal, so i signed for 2 years and got the key2 . i was able to sell the key2 LE on kjiji for 350.

They usually have promo for 3gb for 40. After 6 months you can get loyalty plan of 4gb for 40.
$40 plan has a 10% off. So it's $36 per month really.
It's really confusing marketing by zoomer.

Well, whoever is still looking at getting a Berry these days is probably ok with surviving on 500MB. I mean come on - one of their FAQs literally reads “What is LTE”.

The only thing that’s still blackberry on that this is that dated keyboard. They’ve auctioned off everything else to the first bidder. Lol.

Can you do early upgrades if you still have a year left with Zoomer?

You will be asked to pay off the device before they can renew.

It's a decent phone if you want a keyboard. It runs Android Oreo I believe. The keyboard isn't capacitive like the Key2 and KeyOne. Battery life is decent, camera is meh. Its good for work, emails and messaging due to the keyboard but if you want a media consumption device then you're better off with another full touch phone. Imho

I'm pretty sure the Zoomer service (phone, magazine etc) is literally for the Boomers.

I'm interested to see what, if any, black Friday deals they'll offer. I'm waiting to move to them from a Rogers Corp plan.

Is there even a demand for the BB Key 2 on the secondary market?

I would say there's decent demand.

I've been keeping an eye out for the original Key2 for a while, and every time I see a posting for it for around $300-400, the listing is sold within a few days and I miss my opportunity to grab it for around $300-350...

The Key2 LE listings tend to stay a bit longer if being sold for $350-400, but anything less than that and it sells in a decent amount of time, especially anything under $300.

Prefer key2 rather than LE, but is there anything promotion at Black Friday do you think? Thanks

I am Edmonton, so ymmv. I almost sold it for 400. But in the end the dude flaked. Then i listed it for 380, the dude that bought it talked me down to 350, but i was able to keep the earbuds.

I am no insider, so its anyones guess. I didn't want to wait till the kijiji market is flooded with key2 le. So i pulled the trigger.
