I was looking through the Walmart flyer and saw an offer for $1 fries. Only $1 for medium fries plus tax. Offer is only eligible to McDonald's locations located in a Walmart location. Offer expires as of October 12th.

The terms and conditions are as follows:

Not valid with any meals, pairings or any other offers. At participating McDonald's in Walmart restaurants in Canada. Excludes delivery.

The one at my local GTA has been closed since the start of the pandemic.

Mine seems to have reopened per Google. But no dine-in.

Edit: it doesn't show up in the McD app though. Random observation: those Walmart McDonalds sometimes don't even notice app orders until you tell them, and a couples in their hurry they seem to remove a bunch of orders from their screen without noticing they remove the app order.

short of moving a Walmart into a Mcdonald's, I don't see who this offer is for...Every single walmart around me and hours away from me that has a Mcdz shows it is closed.

LOL that's how they "get you" with this promo--great sale only not sold anywhere. That said of the three main Walmarts I go to, one has its McD's open; the other two been closed for what seems like forever.

In other news McD's also still has their stupid "covid reduced menu" going on when it doesn't seem like there's any reason for it anymore--restaurants are open, you can go inside, there's no shortages of anything, etc. Not sure what's up with still sticking to the limited menu. Guess it'll just be like this indefinitely

my part of GTA are mostly closed.. Markham, Richmond Hill... unless they just start reopen this week..

The Walmart near me (North Vancouver) just opened up in the last few days after being closed for COVID - then a renovation a few months ago. I'm guessing they're trying to bring people back in after being closed for so long?

My local Walmart McDonald's recently reopened and just saw this notification. Opened the app to confirm this deal is on. Good way to drum up some business for the McDonald's in Walmart.
