Do you knwo whether 10K discount is after applying PDI and TAX or its before. Is the discount offered for demo model or new? I was offered similar discount on demo but latter when i started discussing about OTR price that time it was revealed that PDI has to be applied on demo and discount is applied after all calculation.
I’m not sure about most of your questions. The only one I know is that it was new and not demo.

OK... We're talking about a wannabe upscale brand. You will never see discounts like this with other top tier brands.

Just like how Hyundai does the same. One would be stupid to ever purchase from these manufacturers without these kind of sales.

According to the Legal on the Acura website, it is offering $6500 after negotiated price and taxes. ($3500 + $3000). I would assume from this that the $10,000 is the same. The discount is only available on currently in stock and new (never registered) stock. Buying a 2017 now I would expect a higher discount on this vehicle.

It was in the shop, admittedly for mostly minor issues or parts replacements, too many times.

And the transmission behaved oddly. It may just be the ZF9, but it didn’t feel normal.
Hope your XC90 fares better. Its reliability is notoriously bad and Volvo overall doesn't fare well on CR's reliability ratings. But good luck. It is a nice SUV other than that

Exactly. Really nothing to get excited over, now if it was 15k off...

99% of the reported issues are in the infotainment system... when you run the car via a tablet, you have to expect issues ;)

Yes, the XC90 was actually considerably more expensive than the MDX, even without rebates. But I was unhappy with my MDX and wanted out.

Loving the XC90 so far.
Please share what trim and how much were you able to get the XC90 for? I am looking at the options for a 7 seaters

Nothing super... 2018 T6 R-Design with comfort, convenience and vision, and 22” wheel package. I got 4.5% off MSRP, the bigger savings for me was a 0% lease rate due to conquest offers and MSD.

MDX is likely cheaper but the XC90 has some big rebates too and has some safety features that aren't available on the MDX.

Can't go wrong with either however.
What rebate does the XC90 have? Website only shows 1.9% leasing? Even with the ON rebate for the T8 it’s still way more than a loaded MDX.

Wouldn’t mind getting one but the price is on par with a Q7.

Agree. It is like almost every year when they try to clear the MDX inventory.

I'm shocked that dealers still have 2017 models on lots considering they start clearing them out in the summer.

Happens all the time with Acuras. You should have seen the discounts on the POS ZDX.

I don't have the details but we were in the dealership a lot lately and saw them progressively giving more and more rebate on the 2017 since last summer. The most I saw was ~$10k off the T8 XC90 but not sure if they still have it and is still more than an MDX for sure but they have more features and power so...
