Pretty solid if you were planning on doing these Air Canada trips anyway in 2023. 12.5K points at a typical 2 cents per point valuation is effectively worth $250.
Flight redemption bookings and bookings made with a combination of points and cash are not eligible for this offer.
The promotion is not eligible when Flight Pass credits are used when making a flight booking.

I'm trying to determine if I purchase a flight (YYZ/YYC return) for five people on the same reservation if that would qualify. Doesn't seem to be clear in the T&C's, but maybe one of you have a better understanding. If so, thank you.

I'm pretty sure you need to take 2+ roundtrip flights with your Aeroplan number associated to the boarding pass to qualify given that the promo is tied to your Aeroplan number. Not the number of flights that you buy. You can't associate your Aeroplan number to someone elses flight.

Ahhhh, I see...thanks! I'm new to Aeroplan and didn't realize that each passenger would/could have their own Aeroplan number associated with their individual ticket within my reservation (of 5 tickets). Thanks for the clarification OP!

Valid only on new bookings of an Eligible Fare*** on Eligible Scheduled Flights* from an airport in the province of Ontario to an Eligible Destination** in domestic Canada or in the USA; or from an airport in Canada outside of Ontario to an Eligible Destination** in Ontario booked during the Offer Period and travelled within the Travel Period.
Keep in mind that this is for flights operated by Air Canada. So you may book an "Air Canada" flight that's actually operated by a different airline. Just something to keep in mind.

I was reading the terms and conditions and it seems like as long as the actual flights are taken between February 7, 2023 and December 31, 2023, then they count, right? Even if the flight was booked before this offer even came out?

Not really, you need to register your aeroplan number first, then you are qualified.
