Thanks OP. Upvoted.

This looks intriguing, just not sure what I would use it for. But it looks cool!

There doesn't appear to be any way to save the image to a computer through a USB cable or microsd card which IMO severely limits its usefulness

If it was very useful, I doubt it would be sold at 15$ Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes

Have had the 8" non split screen version for a while and my daughter uses it lots for drawing. Well worth the ~$10 I spent on it.

It looks like a sophisticated Etch-A-Sketch. My kids would probably have some fun on it for a few days before it ends up in the closet. A re-purposed old tablet with a touch screen pen would probably be more practical.

These are $5 at Costco if you can find them.

Last seen at Etobicoke in office supplies area. Next to sharpies, dry erase boards and pens.

I laughed a bit at the other uses part of the product page. Weird thing to build a rule into, but okay... but flip it over and it becomes a mouse pad! I suppose we could keep going - use it as a cheese tray, cutting board, small table.

Joking aside - in for one. I'm forever wasting paper figuring out stuff in the garage, seems this would be handy to toss around to run math and calculations on instead of wasting paper.

Last time I checked Costco never had split screen one. This one has 2 sides, each one can be erased individualy. Also good luck finding any in Costco, haven't seen these for months or anywhere near $5, huge ymmv.

I don't think this is a toddler thing, maybe try a magna doodle.

Also anything with a Coin-cell battery (that is not held in by a screw) shouldn't be given to a toddler.

in principle- this should be really handy. I like leaving small notes on my fridge for things we have to do or items we have to pickup because my SO doesn't really use our shared calendar (or just to make it doubly important). But many many many many reviews it's as the most popular RFD thing to say.... e-waste!

Anyone knows if this is magnetic and can be mounted on a refrigerator to use to jog down grocery lists? Also, how long does a battery last in this device since it is not rechargeable and uses coin batteries?

My bank has these.

They write down the numbers to show you, then erase.
