That's good competition for the 2 Original Chicken sandwiches for $5 at Burger King. At least the offer from BK is not only for Ottawa area.

If you have two people who each want a McChicken then $5 for two is probably a better deal than 3 Juniors for roughly the same price.
But for one person, two McChickens is probably too much. I'd rather have the two Juniors for $3.50. Or one and some fries.

surprisingly the junior chicken is only 100 calories less (370 junior vs 470 mcch) so you're right.
