Seems like you have to pay taxes on it. Past deal of $100 for $84.99 was just the flat amount, not HST. (Ontario here)

That only makes sense if this is treated as a discount when checking out on Doordash and no taxes being charged on the discounted amount.

went to checkout but backed out because they are charging GST and PST. not sure if it's an error, as then you would be double taxed.

I just called Costco customer service and they said if I buy it now and callback with the reference number to the call they will refund me the taxes once it is shipped.
