2010 AUDI A5 Rear QTR Dented and scratched, recommendations?
Hi everyone,
So my car took some damage to the rear quarter and bit on the door of the passenger side.
I'm not going through insurance cause this was my brother's doing, and going through insurance will only cost me more in the end.
I've taken it to the 427CC as I've read some great reviews all around and it was recommended by my dealer.
The estimate came to $2800.. and it will take a week and a half for the job they said. and then I took it to another auto body shop that was recommended by a friend called Campus Auto Collision on 44 Lepage Ct, North York and their estimate was only $1400. Now obviously, since I've heard great things about 427, id love to go there but 1400 dollar difference isn't something I can just ignore.. Has anyone heard of Campus auto? I mean the guy who recommended that place isn't the closest friend of mine and Im just worried that the repair won't be done to my liking...
Any suggestions? From looking just at the estimate, there aren't any difference in the job they do but more in the labour charges (36/hr vs. 22/hr) and the amount of time they are spending on the job. The paint cost differed too 300 vs 150 (does this mean they use different quality paint or is this just a mark up? ( I just don't know much about this stuff so any help would be deeply appreciated.)
here are some pictures of the damage... *sigh*
