2011 Toyota Matrix key copy

I see conflicting info about this online.

Has anyone ever got a copy made without going to a dealership? I know I can buy a blank and then I need to get it cut and programmed? Anyone done this and know how much it usually costs?

You don't need to go to dealerships. As long as you have the transponder just move that into a new cut key and you are good. Try the guy below he is good:

So, I could get a key blank from Amazon for my model and get it cut and it would be good?
