Is it worth it to purchase extended warranty on a 2017 F-150 Limited?

No, they are profit making extras for dealers.
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

If you don't want to pay out of pocket for items that are only covered during the 3yr/60K KM and 5yr/100K KM powertrain.
I plan to dump my 2016 Explorer Sport after the powertrain warranty.
Ford has already coughed up $10k in warranty work and rentals for me already and I'ma not going to take any chances afterwards.

I’d love a Plat lease but I would not buy any F150 for long term ownership without extended warranty.

First year of Gen 2 3.5 Eco-boost - should be covered under power-train warranty (5 year/100,000km)
First year of 10 spd trans - should be covered under power-train warranty (5 year/100,000km)
BLIS LED tail light is expensive to replace
Cooled seats have issues with cooling and in 2018 are termed "ventilated" - Basic warranty 3 year/60,000km
Power deployable running boards - I've only seen 1 F150 with a broken one.
First year of double power roof - Probably not covered under extended warranty
I wouldn't buy the extended.

Just because of the Ford name, you better buy the extended warranty.
