If the following is true (havent called dealership to confirm), this may be quite a good price for Ontario residents buying a Leaf in Quebec.
From the Nissan website (choosenissan.ca), when Quebec is chosen:
"get up to 12 300 in total rebates when financing a Leaf SV"
Leaf S Trim starting: $24 088
Now their advertised prices usually include all possible rebates, including Quebec incentive, all before provincial taxes.
Quebec EV incentive is $6 958 before taxes.
So the price for an Ontario resident would be:
24 088 + 6 958 = $31 046 before taxes and Ontario incentive
So (31046 X 1.13) -14 000 = $21 081.98 OTR
So an effective price of 21K MSRP. If the dealer is motivated to sell, then less.
As a comparison, the FFE was approximately $32 156 before tax and ontario incentive, with costco rebate, delivery allowance and auto show discount in the spring.
So this would be about 1K cheaper than the FFE in the spring before tax if true.
