The game starts tomorrow, odds are 1 in 6, same as previous years, and just in perfect time to compete with McDonalds $1 coffee, which still works out as a better deal when you factor in the free sticker every 7 drinks.

Mcdonalds coffee tastes better and is cheaper!

And from (Feb. 5 to Mar. 4) you'll get any size hot premium roast coffee for $1 (plus tax)

Buy a Micky D coffee for $1 and save the $0.50-$0.90 per cup. After your 7th cup youll have saved over $3.50 plus the free coffee = $5.00. You only ever win a free doughnut or coffee with this promo anyways

My wallet is ready!

Interesting that it says on the website that winning coffee tabs can be used for lattes. I thought last year there were separate winning latte tabs?

Also looks like no online game this year, bummer.

And to the "McDonalds is cheaper" crowd, we know! Some of us like Roll Up because it's fun! If I only cared about the average dollar per ounce of coffee rate, I'd buy grounds and make my own shitty coffee.

Edit: The Scroll Up game in the app worked for me and I got a free coffee first try, don't overlook that part of the contest!

People commenting about McDonalds coffee being cheaper and better: I agree, however the huge advantage Tims has is that it is everywhere. When you need a quick cup of coffee in this weather, I don't care about price or taste. I just want a hot coffee without walking too much.

And I have won way more than 1/6 of chance that is mentioned here.

1 in 7 for Tim Hortons is just the chance to win. MD Coffee is save you are sure you will get. I will try both but MD is more promising for me.

Exactly. There's a Tims about a 3 minute walk from my work; pretty dangerous lol

most of the winning cups are in Ontario anyways. Why bother?

McDonald's has good coffee and God awful food. Drive thru is packed and fewer convenient locations.

Tim's has good coffee and passable food options. I'd rather drop into a Tim's in case I want a bagel or muffin or Turkey club. Roll up is a nice bonus.

How is this a hot deal? It saves me no money. This should be in contests.

if it's similar to previous few years, the odds of winning anything is very little.
I probably got a donut 1 out of 6 times and coffee 1 out of 10 last year.
With the min wage increase, I am not sure if it can get better.
Same as the other posters yes McD coffee does taste better and are more consistent from my exp.
