2019 Canadian International Auto Show (February 15-24, Toronto) - Discount Tickets

Deal Link:
Discount (advance) tickets to the Canadian International Auto Show are now available. There's a general 10% discount on tickets purchased in advance (until February 14, 2019 - can be used any day of the show).

Adult: $22.50 (reg. $25)
Youth (13-16): $14.40 (reg. $16)
Child (7-12): $6.30 (reg. $7)
Family Pass (2 adults + 2 children): $45 (reg. $50)

Note that they charge a $0.99 processing fee per ticket so even if it's just 2 adults going, it appears to work out a bit cheaper to buy the family pass).

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There are other ticket specials as well:

Any day after 6 PM (adult ticket only): $19.00

Tuesday, February 19 only (Super Tuesday) : $14.00

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GO + Autoshow ticket packages (GO Train/Bus roundtrip ticket + Auto show ticket):

These are an interesting option if you are not planning to drive downtown (especially if you live further afield, where a roundtrip GO ticket on its own can easily be $30+). Heck, even from the 'nearer' suburbs like Richmond Hill/Markham it's already $20+ for a roundtrip downtown nowadays.

GO + Auto show Adult ticket (valid any day): $30

GO + Auto show Adult ticket on 'Super Tuesday' (February 19 only): $27

GO + Auto show Family Admission (2 adults + 2 children - valid any day): $70

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CAA Discount (members save up to 30% on tickets - must enter CAA membership number to purchase):

Notwithstanding people who get free tickets from work or other places, haven't there been some much better deals than 10% off tickets in years past? Some how, I'm remembering having paid 50% off or $16 or something like that. Do better deals come out the closer it gets?

There was an early bird 25% off. Some dealers used to give these away for free, but those have been more scare in recent years.

Added the CAA discount link (got an e-mail from them with "up to" 30% off). Unfortunately I don't have my membership number handy, or I'd post the prices. If someone who has CAA is able to check what they are, I'll update the OP later.

The only change I can see with CAA pricing is that the regular adult admission becomes $17. Everything else was in line with the current discounted prices.

I run a health and wellness magazine in Ottawa so I wonder if I could sign up as media even though we don't publish anything related to cars unless we do an article on green/pollution-free cars.

I’m planning on going the day after Family day and I notice that they discounted that heavily.

In previous years, it was always a good time to go. Way less crowds. I wonder if they started to capiltize on it.

For those that takes the GO to work everyday.

Get the GO package. Keep the autoshow ticket as the GO fare for the duration of the autoshow (4 business day for most people, during Feb 19-22) . You get your money back and more, even if you don't go to the show. If you go to the show, it would be essentially free.
