2019 Income Tax Payment Extended to September 30th

I saw on the news yesterday that 2019 income tax owed is now due on September 30th.

I almost wonder if they made the change so as to avoid any confusion with deadlines, Making the original deadline on September 1st may have been confusing for some people and inadvertently caused them to think taxes were due on September 30th because most tax deadlines are on the last day of the month not the first. Either way, another bit of relief should help us all out with cash flows.

I'll take any payment deferral that extends into a period where I can be earning some $$$.

A lot of the initial deferrals came due when revenues were not coming in. Although well intended they stacked in such a way that may have put people that are incapable of budgeting into a worse position.
Social Distancing means staying apart 2 meters or 6 feet, the depth of a grave.
Get closer and you might have one foot in the grave. (Pass it on)
