One pic and a short video of the 2019 Lexus UX was just revealed!
Carscoops: Luxus UX

This would be most likely be powered by a 2.0l version of the Camry 2.5l 4 cylinder making 168hp. The hybrid, UX 250h will have 175hp.

Why is Lexus so afraid to give their cars a decent powertrain? No Luxo-branded MiniCrossover should ever have less than 250HP.

If you follow the links the new Dynamic Force 2.0L will replace the 2ZR-FE which is the current engine in the Corolla.
Looks like RFD's favourite car is getting a Powertrain upgrade next year.

Edit: Looks like the 6MT will have auto rev matching on downshift as well. Racecar!

where does this slot into the lineup? Below the NX?

Seems pointless since there are several Toyota products in that segment.

Since almost every Lexus has a Toyota Counter part. This is equal to the CH-R in size while the NX is Rav sized and the RX is similar to the Highlander (especially now that there's a RX with 3rd row option).

I'd imagine this would cost about the same as a fully equipped RAV4 while having less space and fewer features.

Funny thing is, I used to like Lexus more when their designs were more "boring" and conservative. I thought the Lexus IS from 1998-2013 was a classy looking car.

I can see that coming.
M.Benz has the GLC and GLA.
BMW has the X3 and X1, and now X2 as well!
Audi has the Q5 and the Q3.
Volvo has the XC60 and now XC40
Jaguar has the F Pace and now E Pace
Infintiti has the QX50 and QX30

Lexus has the NX and now UX to complete with the rest of the market.

The UX looks exactly like the NX but smaller.
But so are the other cars mentioned above.

They are just making all these luxury brand "affordable".

I think it's stunning. Should sell well as long as they don't put in a horribly inefficient engine like the NX.
