2019 Mustang Lease Help

Hi,

I live in Toronto. I want to lease 2019 Mustang FASTBACK ECOBOOST for 48 months. Ford.ca gave me an estimate monthly payment of $524 (taxes included) with 3.49% interest rate.

How much/should I negotiate this price down? What would be the fair monthly payment if leasing this car? I'm not planning to keep this car after lease.

Is there anyone here leasing a 2019 Mustang 2.3L? If Yes, How much are you paying monthly?

Please help. Thank you everyone.

I always used to think this, but most Mustangs I see on the road these days are V6/2.3T. Rarely see a GT, guess people are satisfied with the base engines.

Nothing wrong with a v6, as I thought Ford went away from the v6 and only offered the turbo4 and v8.

hmm maybe the newer mustangs are v6 2.3t but i have a 2014 v6 and it has a 3.7 litre and done up by desilva racing . This should be my last car before i get a r8 but with that car you dont want the v8 you want the v10 --- vroom vroom.

Nothing wrong with a V6, just like FWD SUVs. :)

There is nothing wrong with the 2019 V6 Mustang, because it doesn't exist. Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes

There is the 4 cylinder or the 8.

I meant V6 or 2.3T.

I have heard good things about DaSilva racing and PSP especially with their fox body work.

What did you have done to your V6?

According to unhaggle, for Feb 2019, on a Ecoboost Premium Fastback, no other options, dealer cost on 48 month lease is $523/mth + tax.

I have edited the post. It's the fastback EcoBoost, that's the one I want. I can't afford Mustang GT. I am fine paying around $500 per month.

So it's around $520/month lease.

How much can I negotiate this price down?
What would be fair reasonable monthly payment for this car?

If anyone can help me, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks again.

According to Unhaggle, MSRP is $32,449 but average joe pays $31,812. How do I figure out how much monthly payments I should be paying since I'm going to lease for 48 months?

Use the Ford website and leasing calculator. Add whatever discount you think you'll get into the trade in value. That will get you roughly the monthly payment.

If you want to do it the hard way. It's the price of the car plus interest and taxes minus the residual value divide by 48 months.

You already got the unhaggle price and website price. Start at 3% under dealer cost and go from there. Try to see if anyone will contact you via Unhaggle or play the email spam game.

$30,542 is the lowest price for 2018 MY on autotrader. Not really a big difference in price. I don't think I will be able to lease 2018 MY with a lower interest rate than 3.49. All the 2018's are available for financing only with an interest rate of either 5.99 or 6.99. That's a really high interest rate. Plus, I don't want to finance and deal with a headache of selling a 5-6 year old Mustang.

Thank you for your suggestion. I guess I'd need to visit a dealership to find out this "residual value" because Ford.ca doesn't indicate it. I will try to google and see if I could find out this residual value online.
