Looks great. I wonder if they're going to discontinue the S60?

Wow, very impressed. That's pretty much a perfect wagon right there. I'll be checking it out when it comes out.
Will be interesting to see how they price it. If they keep it in low-mid 40s then there is really nothing comparable on the market.

I expect it to start at the mid 40s. Add in a few packages and you're looking at around $55k + tax for the V60 T5. Most definitely won't be cheaper than the current V60.Hindenburg1 wrote: ↑ Wow, very impressed. That's pretty much a perfect wagon right there. I'll be checking it out when it comes out.

The 400hp T8 will be a rocket! Volvo is definitely on a roll lately and should sell very well.

They should raise it a couple of inches, add black flairings around the wheel wells and call it XV60.
A life spent making mistakes is not only more memorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.

I think that it looks very nice but I really wish these manufacturers (e.g. Audi, Volvo, Toyota) made these PHEV with a more usable amount of electric range. This one is certainly better than the T8 (22 km) but under 50 km almost makes the PHEV portion useless - might as well just make it a regular hybrid ...

I love this new V60. I would have considered this if it was available when I got my XC60 in January. One thing I really don't like is that Volvo doesn't memorize your drive mode and default it to comfort every time you start the car. The other thing I wish they have is to have more customization in the digital gauges (Audi virtual cockpit is better). Like change the map display to song display without going through the menu in the center console screen. Other than small things like that, the car is good.

No the V60 is a wagon. The V60 CC is a raised wagon. The xc60 is the SUV.
Think sportwagen vs alltrack.
FYI, there are massive clearance deals on the old v60 2018 models. I could get 9500 (8500 +1000 loyalty) off before negotiating.

I disagree, my commute to work is only about 15km one way so this would be a perfect car for me, no gas for the commute yet can still go to the cottage on the weekends. The money I would save...michelb wrote: ↑ I think that it looks very nice but I really wish these manufacturers (e.g. Audi, Volvo, Toyota) made these PHEV with a more usable amount of electric range. WOW, love it.
I was looking at a v60 polestar but they are priced insanely high. There is no way this is going to be $40k. Even today the V60 T5s AWD are almost $60,000 and a base V60 is already $45,000.
