Up until about a year ago I was a tim hortons cutomer but switched on a whim. Now the barista's know me by name, know my orders talk about things I have talked about in the past (How was leg day at the gym...) and I feel a connection to my local Starbucks. It's cliché to say but I look forward to my morning Americano and will probably be a customer for life.

Sorry for the off topic rant.
If you can spare the moment, definitely reach out to the manager to let them know how pleased you are with the staff! They are trained and evaluated on making customer connections, knowing their customers, conversating with their customers, and your story could mean a positive review and maybe even raise for some of those staff! :)

I tried to redeem this yesterday on an iced latte but the cashier said “coupon not found” and then explained that an iced latte didn’t fall under the iced coffee category. So I switched my ordered to an iced cold brew and still the coupon wasn’t coming up when scanned. The manager came over to play around with it but eventually just manually overrode it.
Yeah some places don't do coupons for whatever reason. The one at Oakville Memorial Hospital didn't do coupons but the cashier manually overrode it. The cashier at Hudsons Bay Centre wouldn't redeem more than 2 coupons in one transaction, but I don't know if that is standard

hi, did anyone use this email address to contact Starbucks and got a response, or used a different one? games@win.starbucks.com

I tried to order a bakery item on app and instore but it doesn't come up as free; and the barista checked and says there isn't any free for bakery item in my account. i wonder if i get something after the summer games end.. below is what i have from their generic email after I answer skills question so i thought i have to wait.. but then everyone's getting their free drinks/food right now (maybe it's different for one-time drink/food vs a weekly one??) .. so i'm confused. tia

Why would you have a free bakery item? The prize description clearly says that the prize will be fulfilled within 8-10 weeks of the conclusion of the promotion.

Did the cashier said what the error is on the the register's screen when it was applied on the cold brew the second time ?

Do you recall what the error message was on the cashier's screen ?

Seeing as I keep getting sweepstakes entries, I must be due to win a sweepstakes prize.

Here’s a new one.

Had a ball land on that ledge between the win and sweepstakes areas.

That counts as a sweepstakes entry.

Oh and for anyone who was having trouble redeeming any of the coupons, I was able to redeem a 50% off iced espresso drink today with no issues.

Had that happen once as well. Wanted to take a screen shot but wasn’t quick enough hehe.

All in all: total of 120 stars, 2 coupons for free trenta refreshers, and 2 coupons for 50% off drinks, and have 2 sweepstakes entires left after all the trading for extra plays.

The kids enjoyed playing the game but we were certainly frustrated more often than not by the “surprise” extra bounce that seemed to fudge the laws of physics lol.
